Dubai Ports World Sokhna, formerly Sokhna Port Development Company, is an Egypt-based company that operates the Port of Sokhna located on the Red Sea. The Company provides a range of services within the port, including terminal handling and planning, Post-Panamax ship-to-store container gantries and stacking cranes, logistics and warehousing services, and clearance and distribution. The Company owns a 51% stake in Soncker Ships Supply Company SAE. Dubai Ports World Sokhna is a subsidiary of The Egyptian Company for Containers Handling SAE (acquired by Dubai Ports World Co. on February 19, 2008).
