These businesses provide operating and marketing synergies both locally and internationally. Shipping business includes three segments: tankers, which includes owned and long-term charters of mid-range product tankers, small product tankers and chemical tankers; drybulk, which includes owned and long-term charters of handysize, panamax and capsize bulk carriers, and ship operating activities, which includes the Parcel Service, ITAS, handymax, bunker barges and Unicorn Calulo tankers. Trading is engaged in agricultural commodities, mineral commodities, marine fuel and lubricants. Freight services is engaged in ports, terminals, container freight logistics, rail, logistics, seafreight, and ship agencies. Financial Services includes the operations of its Grindrod Bank.
