East African Cables Limited is a cable manufacturer in Africa. The Company has two manufacturing facilities in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Products manufactured by East African Cables include copper electrical cables and conductors for domestic, as well as industrial applications. The Company also supplies its products to the construction industry. Its products include aluminium conductors and cables used for power distribution and transmission over national gridlines. East African Cables is the sole distributor for Nexans in East and Central Africa. The supplied ranges of cables from Nexans include medium and high-voltage cables, telecommunication cables, data cables, local area network (LAN) systems, fiber optic cables and related accessories.
